A lot of Pengyo asked me today what I think about the new FSD version and Robotaxi, so I’ll answer them unified here.

This year’s FSD is completely different from previous Tesla self-driving in terms of capabilities. I was very impressed. I recently spoke to several L4 leaders about end-to-end technology, which all believe end-to-end is the best route for L2 or L3, but not L4’s top choice. I truly believe end-to-end and large models will eventually lead to L4.

As for Robotaxi, we believe Tesla should be in charge of everything from vehicles to operations. This is different from our approach. Xiaopeng’s Robotaxi will launch a very competitive Robotaxi in 2026, and will be working with partners to drive this transformation without being involved in operations.
