I am pleased to announce that the great Elon Musk will lead the Government Efficiency Committee (“DOGE”) with American patriot Vivek Ramaswamy. These two brilliant Americans will pave the way for my administration to dismantle government bureaucracy, reduce overregulation, cut wasteful spending, and restructure federal agencies. This is vital to the “Save America” movement. “It will send shockwaves through the system, and it will affect people involved in a lot of government waste!” Mr. Musk said.

This, potentially, will be the “Manhattan Project” of our time. Republican politicians have long dreamed about the goal of “DOGE.” To lead this drastic change, the Department of Government Efficiency will provide advice and guidance from outside of government, and work with the White House and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to promote large-scale structural reforms to create a creative government approach not seen before.

I look forward to Elon and Vivek making a difference in the federal bureaucracy so that they value efficiency and at the same time provide a better life for all Americans. The important thing is that we will eliminate enormous waste and fraud from the $6.5 trillion in government spending per year. They will work together to liberate our economy and ensure that the U.S. government becomes a “responsible government to the people.” Their work will be completed before July 4, 2026, which will be the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
