Norway, the Nordic country with the fastest EV transition in South Korea amid EV fears, had a whopping 94.3%* of the new car sales market in July. (Images 1, 2)

• PHEV: 2.4%
• HEV: 2.5%
• Gasoline: 0.7%

One thing to note is that HEV has more than halved from the previous year (5.9%) to just 2.5%, and gasoline has also halved to 0.7%* from the previous year (1.4%). (Accelerating the extinction of internal combustion vehicles)

The best selling car for July is Volkswagen’s ID.4.
In second place is Skoda’s ENYAQ, and in third place is Toyota’s BZ4X. (Image 3)

Tesla Model Y, which has always been the leader, has dropped to 11th place, which is believed to be due to low deliveries in July every year.

On the other hand, I can’t see any more than KONA (7th place)..

There is one more thing to note.
Chinese electric vehicle brands XPENG’s G9 and BYD’s DOLPHIN stand out.
In Norway, which has the fastest conversion of electric vehicles, Chinese cars are among the top sellers of cars.

Despite the popularity of affordable cars, Tesla, a luxury brand, is at the top of the list. 👍

Of course, it will take more time for all cars to be 100% converted to electric vehicles in Norway.
However, old internal combustion locomotives do not drive much, so it seems possible in just two to three years for the proportion of electric-powered vehicles on the road to exceed 50%.
