Tesla customers can now purchase ‘Short Shorts’ using their referral credits.

Customers with 1,469 referral credits can purchase the Red Satin Short Shorts. These short shorts are available in sizes ranging from extra small to extra large, with a gold Tesla T logo on the front and a “S3XY” on the back, each with a letter indicating the name of the Tesla vehicle model.

“Tesla Shorts offers exceptional comfort throughout the day from opening to closing,” explains Tesla.

Elon Musk was the first to jokingly mention Shortz in 2018, which was introduced in 2020 as a strange response to skeptics about the company’s success in the stock market.

The short shorts were priced at $69.420 per pair, a subtle reference to the $420 price Musk wanted to make the carmaker private in 2018. The shorts attracted considerable attention, and all of them quickly sold out.

Tesla shares closed Thursday at $210.50 a share, up 94.7% from the start of the year.

The news is that Tesla’s Giga Texas manufacturing plant is expanding production ahead of the Cybertruck delivery event scheduled for November 30.

Joe Tegmyer’s observations from X showed that 14 Cybertrucks were found outside the plant, with more than 100 front casts for vehicles. The news is seen by Tesla enthusiasts and industry watchers as a sign of a move toward large-scale production.

The second big news from Giga Texas. I had 14 Cybertrucks outside (2 next to Helipad, 2 superchargers, and 10 on the outbound lot), and at the eastern end of the recycling yard there were more than 100 Cybertruck front-cast with 6 Cybertruck bodies.

Cybertruck, Tesla’s entry into the electric pickup truck market, has been the subject of much speculation since its announcement. Featuring a sleek, angled, forward-looking design and a stainless steel exoskeleton, the vehicle has been built as one of the most high-profile upcoming vehicles.

The truck is designed to have the practicality of pickups and the performance of sports cars, demonstrating Tesla’s ambition to innovate its car design and capabilities.

The response to Tegmeyer’s tweet reflected the community’s desire to launch Cybertruck, showing users speculating about production rates and potential delivery dates.

During the reaction, some users considered the logistics of Cybertruck’s delivery and storage, while others made funny comments about the size of the vehicle and whether it fits into the standard parking space.

These interactions highlight that the community has a strong interest in all the details of Tesla’s operations and Cybertruck’s entry into the market.
