FSD 12.5.4 (ASS) Test Drive

FSD 12.5.4 (ASS) Test Drive

This morning, the 12.5.4 I was waiting for on my way to work with a new 12.5.2.1 arrived with ASS. (I cut the newly hired driver in half a day and replaced him with a veteran driver who graduated from a model taxi driver training center, and the wages are the same).

12.5.4 is like a driver who has a taxi driver’s license and is anxious to drive, asking for the speed limit to be lifted because he can drive well from the beginning, asking for “Automatic Set Speed Offset” and continuing to display the pub-up window. (This means ignoring the speed limit on the road and allowing the car to run naturally in accordance with the surrounding traffic flow, but the city where I live has too many police officers who crack down on speeding, so I refrain from using it. I take it as an expression of confidence in the FSD.)

In short, the driving ability of 12.5.4 is completely one level better than before. Really confident and skillful at driving. Dithering has been much less and stability has increased on the highway.

“Natural lane change” and “end-to-end neural network learning on highways,” which were previously lacking on highways, feel quite advanced.

FSD saw the first road cut and got away with it. Wow.

Enter the parking lot skillfully and run without hesitation in the parking lot. (Now the problem is the navigation map. As long as the map is well maintained, there is no problem with driving. I couldn’t find the exit in the parking lot. Problems occur at points where the map information is poor.)

“My U-turn skills have improved a lot. I turn it the other way before I turn. I do a U-turn in one try. You are 100 times better than me.”

The map is poor, so even if you take the wrong road, you can catch a new route and solve it. Even ignoring the route of the navigation, the FSD decides independently and goes on its own. Now it seems that the navigation cannot keep up with the FSD.)

The recognition rate of speed-limit signs on highways and roads has improved a lot. Signs that you couldn’t see because they were far away are now well recognized.

Again, it’s time for a map dedicated to FSD. 90% of the problems occur where Google Navi is poor.

ASS is “best experience of life” right (if you do it as well as you’d expect)…

It’s still a bit unfortunate, but when I got off work, I came to me from the parking spot in the parking lot, and maybe because it’s a small mall’s main window, I used a dummy summon that goes straight because it’s “not available in public.”

The passersby glimpses. The car moves on its own. (I’ll go home and tell my family, I’ll tell my colleagues at work, moving billboards.)

ASS is going to do several tests over time. It’s just the beginning, so I’m looking forward to it.

I think I’ll do a lot of highway testing tomorrow as I leave for a fall foliage hike to Lake Lousie.
