In a CNBC interview, Franz said the Cybercap version released last year will appear on the real road next year. He stressed that there may be some minor changes, but that these are only improvements to increase efficiency and performance.

Ford CEO Jim Farley said China is effectively dominating the global EV market and is incomparable to Tesla, GM and Ford.
He cited innovation + low cost + local government subsidies as reasons for China’s success, and highlighted the strides made by new brands such as BYD, Geely, Nio and Xiaomi. He also explained that China is significantly ahead in technology in the vehicle, and Huawei and Xiaomi systems are installed in all vehicles, automatically reflecting digital life without linking mobile phones. He then warned that “if we lose the competition with China, there is no future for Ford.”
- Canaccord raises Tesla price target to $490
Canaccord Genuity analyst George Giannarikas maintained a Buy rating by raising the price target on Tesla to $490 from $333.
He laid out ▲increased delivery ▲launch new EV models ▲expand energy storage business ▲Musk’s long-term commitment and reward package ▲RoboTaxi and humanoid robot growth strategy.
However, he analyzed, “We need to go through a process of creative destruction for growth, and considerable robot sales should be supported.”
