1. Tesla Board Designs 2025 Performance Awards for Musk
   “Elon Musk is a once-in-a-generation visionary, and under his leadership, Tesla has the potential to become the most valuable company in history,” Tesla board chairman Robin Denholm stressed in a message to shareholders. To that end, the board has prepared a 2025 CEO Performance Award based on the 2018 performance-based performance-based structure. The plan is a structure in which Musk is only rewarded if shareholder value is realized, aiming to match 100% interests with shareholders.
2. Tesla Redesigns Front of Vehicle Door Handle
   Tesla head of design Franz von Holtzhausen told a Bloomberg podcast that the design is under way to integrate the electronic and manual door switches into a single button. The move is intended to allow passengers to operate more intuitively in emergency situations. He also added that Tesla is working on countermeasures following changes in the Chinese market and “preparing for a very good solution.”
3. Tesla halves FSD strike forgiveness period
   According to Tesla’s latest 2025.32 software update manual, the forgiveness period for Autopilot and FSD (Full Self-Driving) strikes has been shortened to 3.5 days from the previous seven days. This is interpreted as a move to enhance drivers’ awareness and to apply stricter FSD usage rules.
4. Tesla Launches FSD (Supervised) in Australia, New Zealand
   Tesla announced that it will officially launch its supervised (FSD) to Australian and New Zealand general customers as of today. Over-the-Air (OTA) updates will enable Model 3 and Model Y owners with HW4. New vehicle buyers can add as an option, while existing vehicle owners will soon be supported with a subscription of A$149 (Monday). However, no timeline has been announced for the HW3 vehicles.
5. Waymo·Lyft Launches Self-Driving Taxi Service In Nashville
   Waymo and Lyft said they plan to offer self-driving taxi services in Nashville starting in 2026 through cooperation. Initially, they can be called via the Waymo app, which will also work with the Lyft app later. The two companies emphasized that they will combine world-class autonomous driving technology with vehicle management experience to provide seamless ride-sharing services.
